Platform privacy notice
This notice covers the SalesOne platform at app.salesone.now and the data it receives when a user connects a Google or Microsoft account. It adds to the SalesOne Privacy Policy, which applies to everything else.
Why the platform asks for account access
SalesOne runs outbound sales programs for business clients. Members of a client team can connect a work calendar so that meetings with prospects are booked only into free time, and can connect a work mailbox so that outreach emails are sent from that mailbox and replies are routed back to the right person. Connecting an account is optional, and only the account owner can connect it.
Data accessed and how it is used
- Basic profile (name and email address): to show which account is connected and to address meeting invitations.
- Calendar (Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook calendar): the platform reads free and busy times to offer open meeting slots, creates meeting events with a Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link when a meeting is booked, and cancels those events when a meeting is cancelled. It does not read the titles, attendees or contents of other events, and it does not list or read events it did not create. Each person connects only their own calendar.
- Who can book into a connected calendar: members of the client's workspace and the SalesOne team assigned to the client's program can book meetings into a connected calendar. They see only the open times the platform derives from free and busy information; they never see the titles, attendees or contents of existing events.
- Mailbox (Microsoft 365, or a Google Workspace mailbox connected with a Google app password, both via IMAP and SMTP): the platform sends the outreach emails the client has approved, and reads incoming messages only to detect replies, bounces and out-of-office notices to those emails, so the sequence can stop and the right person can respond.
What the platform does not do
- It does not sell Google or Microsoft user data, or share it with data brokers.
- It does not use this data for advertising, including personalized or retargeted ads.
- It does not use this data to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
- People at SalesOne do not read calendar event details or mailbox contents, except with the user's permission for a specific message, when needed for security or to investigate abuse, or when required by law. When booking a meeting, the SalesOne team sees only open time slots, as described above.
Google API Services: Limited Use
SalesOne's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage, security and sharing
Access tokens are encrypted at rest and are used only by the platform's servers. Data is sent over encrypted connections. It is shared only with the service providers that host and run the platform, under contracts that limit their use to providing that service, or when required by law.
Retention and removing access
A user can disconnect a calendar or mailbox at any time in Settings, which deletes the stored tokens and, for a Google calendar, also revokes the platform's access at Google. Access can also be removed from the account itself: for Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and for Microsoft at myapps.microsoft.com. Records of meetings booked and emails sent are kept for the length of the client's program and deleted on request, unless the law requires otherwise.
